Millet soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 80 g millet
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth, granulated
  • 100 g carrot(s), diced
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the onion in olive oil in a saucepan. Wash the millet under running water and add it. Add the carrots and then top up with water. Add the vegetable stock, salt, pepper, and oregano, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Purée the soup and season to taste. Serve hot.
