Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 large onion(s), diced
- 3 large garlic cloves, very finely chopped
- 1 m.-large pepper
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 class can/n tomatoes, chopped
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 150 ml water
- ½ tsp coriander, ground
- 1 tsp Pul Biber or cayenne pepper
- 6 grains allspice, ground
- 4 cloves, ground
- 1 ½ tsp, heaped cumin, ground
- 1 tsp thyme, dried
- 1 tsp oregano, dried
- Salt
- pepper
- some oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Brown the minced meat in a little oil. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent. Meanwhile, dice the bell pepper and zucchini. Season the minced meat mixture with salt and pepper. Add the garlic and remaining spices and fry for 1 minute, stirring continuously. Add the vegetables, stir briefly, and deglaze with the tomatoes and water. Add the tomato paste and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. If the consistency is too thick, add a little water if desired. Season the minced meat to taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Rice or couscous is a good side dish.
