Minced meat puff pastry pockets

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry from the refrigerated section (roll, approx. 275 g))
  • 200 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • a few stalks of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for the Tupperware “Dough Trap”

Chop the shallot and parsley and beat with the egg. Stir in the grated cheese and ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Use the pastry cutter to cut out 6 circles from the puff pastry. Dust the pastry cutter with flour, place a circle of dough on top, and top with about 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture. Brush the edges of the circle of dough with egg, then press the pastry cutter together. Brush the resulting pastry case with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve with a simple green or mixed salad and a dollop of mustard.
