Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 600 g minced beef
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 150 g cream cheese (cream cheese)
- 3 spring onions
- ¼ jar jalapeño(s)
- 150 g Cheddar cheese
- 9 slices of bacon
- Barbecue sauce
- 6 small burger buns
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form six balls. Use the bottom of a cup to make a deep indentation in each ball. Place the ground beef shells on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and wrap each one with a slice of bacon. Secure the bacon with toothpicks. Place the shells in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. For the filling, mix the jalapeños, spring onions, cream cheese, and grated cheddar with paprika and pepper. Remove the toothpicks from the ground beef shells and fill the shells with the cheese mixture. Brush the outside of the shells with barbecue sauce. Place the filled shells back in the oven at 200°C for another 5 minutes. Place the shells on a burger patty while they are still hot.
