Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 rolls, fresh or for baking
  • 400 g minced beef
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bag of grated cheese, approx. 200 g
  • 6 tsp remoulade
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp, heaped salt
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tsp, heaped pepper from the mill

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely dice the onion and place it in a bowl with the minced meat and tomato paste. Mix the mixture thoroughly with the spices. Divide the meat mixture into six equal portions and shape them into buns. Cut the buns in half and spread with remoulade. Place the pre-formed meatballs on the sliced ​​buns that have been spread with remoulade. Place one or two tomato slices on the meatball. Top the buns with your choice of toppings and spread the cheese on top. Finally, place the buns in the preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 to 15 minutes.
