Mini donuts with marzipan from the donut maker

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g butter, soft
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 30 g sugar
  • 60 g marzipan paste
  • 130 ml milk
  • 160 g flour
  • 0.33 tsp baking powder
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Chop the marzipan into small pieces. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with the vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form. Beat the egg yolks with the softened butter, sugar, and marzipan until as smooth as possible. Gradually stir in the baking powder, flour, and milk. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the batter into the preheated donut maker and dust with powdered sugar after baking. This mixture makes enough for two filled donut maker irons with 7 mini donuts.
