Mini dumplings with ham, cream and cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g potato dumplings (mini dumplings)
  • 50 g lean ham cubes
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 150 ml cream
  • some cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Recycling leftovers

Slice the onion into strips and quarter the dumplings. Fry the ham and onions in a little oil in a pan. Add the dumplings and fry until lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper. If you don’t like cream or a creamy consistency, you can stop here and serve as is. Then add the cream and let it thicken slightly over medium heat. Finally, stir in some grated cheese to thicken the consistency even more. This served 2 1/2 people.
