Mini Flour Dumplings with Bacon
The perfect mini flour dumplings with bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Flour
- 3 piece Eggs
- 200 ml Milk
- 50 ml Mineral water
- Salt according to taste
- 250 g Bacon cubes
- Apple compote to taste
- Sift the flour, mix with the eggs, milk and salt to a smooth dough.
- If the dough is too firm, mix with the water until it has a smooth consistency.
- Bring 2.5 liters of water to a boil in a large saucepan and season with salt.
- Usually these dumplings (kniddele) are put into water with the help of two teaspoons. This time I took my spaetzleria because I wanted to make little Kniddele.
- Spread the dumplings directly into the boiling salted water. When you swim up you are done. Take on the water with a slotted spoon and rinse in a bowl of cold water.
- Leave the bacon cubes in a pan and roast a little.
- Now you put the dumplings on a plate and spread the bacon cubes on top or mix the bacon cubes with the mini dumplings.
