Mint-ginger lemonade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 g mint, fresh
  • 900 ml water, boiling
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, thumb-sized
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • n. B. Lemon slice(s) or mint for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 12 minutes

Wash the mint and place it in a jug or carafe. Peel and slice the ginger. Add it to the carafe along with the honey. Pour the boiling water into the carafe and let it cool. Stir if necessary to dissolve the honey. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the mixture. Serve garnished with a lemon slice or a mint sprig.
