Minute Steak with Yellow Romanesco Rice and Brown Mushrooms
The perfect minute steak with yellow romanesco rice and brown mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Minute steaks:
- 2 Minute steaks of 100 g
- 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
- 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
Yellow Romanesco rice: (for 4 people!)
- 1 Romanesco 600 g / cleaned and grated approx. 400 g
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Salt
Brown mushrooms:
- 4 Large brown mushrooms approx. 150 g
- 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
- 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
Serve:
- 4 leaves Basil for garnish
Minute steaks:
- Wash minute steaks, carefully pat dry with kitchen paper and fry in a pan with hot sunflower oil (2 tbsp) for 5-2 minutes on both sides, with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches each) and colored Season the pepper from the mill (2 big pinches each), remove from the pan and keep warm.
Yellow Romanesco Rice: (For 4 people!)
- Clean Romanesco and rub on a coarse kitchen grater. Bring water with turmeric (1 teaspoon) and salt (1 teaspoon) to a boil in a large saucepan, add the grated romanesco, let it boil for about 3 minutes and drain through a fine kitchen sieve.
Brown mushrooms:
- Clean / brush the mushrooms, quarter them, sauté / stir-fry in the pan (minute steaks) and season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches).
Serve:
- Squeeze the yellow romanesco rice into a cup and turn it onto the plate. Add minute steak and mushrooms and serve garnished with basil leaves.
