Mocha cookies

Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 60 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 2 tbsp coffee powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tbsp coffee powder (for the glaze)
  • 150 g icing sugar (for the glaze)
  • 1 tbsp water, hot (for the glaze)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the ingredients into a dough and chill for 30 minutes. Roll out and cut out shapes. Bake at 175°C (electric oven, no preheating) for approximately 15-20 minutes. Let cool after baking. Mix the glaze ingredients, spread over the cookies, and decorate with a mocha bean, if desired.
