Mojito – Sorbet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 ml white rum, e.g. Havana Club
  • 100 ml sugar syrup
  • 5 limes
  • 6 leaves mint, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the limes in warm water, then roll them vigorously on the tabletop and then squeeze the juice. Finely slice the mint and add it to the lime juice. Add the sugar syrup and white rum. Freeze in an ice cream maker or place the mixture in a shallow bowl in the freezer, stirring thoroughly with a whisk after it has frozen.
