Mojito

The perfect mojito recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 cl Rum (white, e.g. Bacardi or Havana Club)
  • 9 cl Sparkling water to fill up
  • 1 Pc. Lime
  • 4 tbsp Crushed ice
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar (cane sugar)
  • 3 Pc. Sprigs of mint (fresh)
  1. Wash the lime well and cut into eighths, first cut off both ends. Put in a large glass with the brown sugar and mint.
  2. Press the lime pieces together with the mint in the glass with a pestle, but do not crush them completely.
  3. Finally, add the crushed ice and the rum and fill the glass with sparkling water. Garnish the glass with lime wedges and mint leaves if you like.
