Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 ½ kg apples
- 20 g butter
- 20 g sugar
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 75 g raisins
- 2 tbsp rum
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp rum
- some water, hot (if necessary)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Soak the raisins in rum for about 1-2 hours (or overnight). You can also use ready-made rum raisins. Make a dough from the dough ingredients and roll out half of the dough on the bottom of a springform pan lined with baking paper. Place a strip of dough around the edge. Then prick the dough with a fork to prevent it from becoming bubbly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10-15 minutes until light golden. Meanwhile, peel and slice the apples for the filling. Sauté with butter, sugar, and cinnamon (this is quick and easy in the microwave). Add the rum raisins and spread everything on the pre-baked base. Roll out the remaining dough and place it on top as a pastry cover, or add a little more flour to the dough and then sprinkle it on top as a crumble. Finish baking in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes. After cooling, make a glaze from powdered sugar, rum and possibly hot water and spread it over the cake.
