Golabki
Dice the onions and sauté until translucent. Simmer the rice for just a few minutes, depending on the type. Max. 2-5 minutes. Mix the minced meat with the rice and onions and season. Tear the top leaves off the savoy cabbage and place them in the bottom of a very deep pot. Remove about 12 more nice, large leaves and place each in hot water for 1-2 minutes so they are easier to shape later. Place on a plate and let cool briefly. Take some of the meat mixture, roll it into a sausage, and place it in each leaf. Then roll the leaves up, folding in the sides first. Stack all the cabbage rolls on top of each other in the large pot, pour over 250 ml of stock, bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes. They taste best when made the day before. Sear them in a pan until the rolls take on some browning before eating.
