simple and delicious, according to an old family recipe

Combine all ingredients, except the milk, and knead thoroughly (I mix everything in a food processor and knead). Form the dough into logs (approx. 2.5 cm in diameter) and let them rest in a cool place overnight. The next day, cut 1 cm thick slices and place them at large intervals on a baking sheet. Pour a little milk onto a small plate, dip a fork into it, and flatten each cookie. Bake at approximately 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) until golden brown. This amount of dough yields approximately 90 delicious, crispy cookies.
