Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 120 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pack of flavoring (Citroback)
  • 250 g butter
  • 300 g apricot jam
  • 3 tbsp rum
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 55 minutes

Makes about 60 cookies. Sift flour onto a work surface. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, Citroback, and butter and make a dough. Chill. Roll out the dough, cut out round, jagged cookies, and evenly sized rings. Place the cookies on a prepared baking sheet, then place the rings on a separate sheet, as baking times vary. Bake at 180°C for about 10-15 minutes. Mix the apricot jam with the rum and spread it over the cookies. Dust the rings with powdered sugar and place them on the cookies.
