Mozzarella and tomato salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 600g mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into approximately 1 cm thick slices and arrange them side by side on a flat plate. Drizzle with olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, then sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper. Let stand for about 10 minutes and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Serve with toasted bread, toasted bread, or baguette.
