Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 14 m.-large cocktail tomatoes, red and yellow
  • 14 balls of mini mozzarella
  • Cream of balsamic vinegar
  • a few stalks of basil
  • some pepper, optional

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

The eye-catcher on every party buffet

Drain the mozzarella balls thoroughly, for at least 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cut a top off the cherry tomatoes. This also removes the stems, and carefully remove some of the seeds with the end of a spoon. Drizzle some balsamic vinegar into the hollowed-out tomatoes. Place a mozzarella ball on top of each tomato and press down gently. Carefully thread basil leaves onto a skewer and place the stuffed tomato on top. If desired, sprinkle the mozzarella with a little pepper.
