Mozzarella Orange

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 1 orange(s)
  • some vanilla, ground
  • Cream of balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • some basil leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Drain the mozzarella and slice it. Divide the slices evenly between two plates (for the appetizer). Sprinkle with a little ground vanilla. Cut an orange into segments and place the slices on top of the mozzarella slices. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and garnish with a few basil leaves. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of salt on the mozzarella slices before adding the vanilla. You can also warm the dish slightly in the oven before serving. It tastes great both hot and cold.
