Mozzarella schnitzel with pepper gnocchi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of gnocchi
  • 6 steak(s) , (minute steaks)
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 6 bell peppers, 2 green, 2 red, 2 yellow
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • Soy sauce
  • Soup seasoning
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Prepare the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Briefly fry the steaks in hot oil. Season with salt, pepper, and soup seasoning, then remove from the pan. Dice the bell peppers and fry in the frying fat until soft. Mix in the gnocchi and fry briefly. Transfer everything to a greased casserole dish. Remove the pan juices with cream and crème fraîche and bring the sauce to a boil. Season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, and soup seasoning and pour over the bell peppers and gnocchi. Place the steaks on top. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on the meat, season with salt and pepper. Pick the basil leaves and scatter them over the tomatoes. Slice the mozzarella and place them on top. Bake in the oven at 190°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
