Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Enough for one tray, nutty, chocolatey, energy-rich and delicious
Melt the chocolate and preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Chop the nuts, cornflakes, and raisins in a food processor, blender, or food processor. Whether coarsely or finely is a matter of taste; I always blend them finely. In a bowl, combine the nut mixture with the chocolate and stir in the remaining ingredients until a sticky mass forms. If the mixture is a little too dry, you can add a little water. Line a baking tray with baking paper and press the sticky mass into cookie cutters (best with a teaspoon) until they hold their shape. Then carefully remove them from the mold on the baking tray. Bake the muesli hearts for about 20 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius with fan. Let the muesli hearts cool and enjoy. The hearts will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator or in a tin. You can also make bars from the muesli mixture: Simply spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake. After 10 minutes of baking, remove from the oven briefly and cut into bars, then bake for another 10 minutes. Since the muesli hearts are a bit crumbly, you should use light cookie cutters without many corners and edges.
