Muffins with Giotto topping

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g margarine, e.g. Sanella
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 50 g confectionery (Giotto)
  • 10 g baking cocoa
  • 15 g sugar
  • 300 ml cream
  • 12 Confectionery (Giotto) for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

for a 12-cup muffin tray

Combine the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, margarine, flour, and baking powder in a mixing bowl and mix well. Pour the batter into the muffin cups. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes on the middle rack. Allow to cool thoroughly. Place the Giotto balls in a freezer bag and roughly chop them. Place them in a blender with the cocoa and sugar and mix. Add the cream and whip everything until stiff peaks form. Spread the cream onto the muffins with a knife and decorate with a Giotto ball.
