  • 300 ml mulled wine
  • 250 ml cherry juice
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 200 g natural yogurt
  • 1 tsp, smothered cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • sweetener

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

– Christmas dessert –

Heat the mulled wine with the cherry juice (except for 6 tablespoons) and 1 pinch of cinnamon in a saucepan. Sweeten to taste. Stir the remaining liquid with the cornstarch. When the liquid begins to boil, thicken with the cornstarch. Bring to a boil briefly, then immediately pour into dessert bowls and let cool. Stir the yogurt with the cinnamon and honey until smooth, then sweeten to taste. Serve 2 tablespoons of yogurt on top of the mulled wine jelly and garnish with a little cinnamon. Serve well chilled! Tip: This is also a great way to use up leftover sour cherry juice, for example, from baking.
