Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms (mixed mushrooms)
  • 2 liters of vegetable broth
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g flour
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar (spirit vinegar)
  • Parsley, chopped
  • some cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

according to Bavarian recipe

Bring the fresh or frozen mushrooms to a boil with vegetable stock and let stand for about 10 minutes. Strain the mushrooms, reserving the stock but not discarding it. Make a light roux from the butter and flour and slowly add the stock until the stock is thickened. Stir well to avoid lumps. Add the mushrooms and season with salt, pepper, and vinegar (to taste). Finish with cream and parsley. Serve with bread dumplings.
