Mushroom cream cheese sauce with pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 300 g herb cream cheese
  • 200 ml cream
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. parsley
  • n. B. white wine
  • some oil or butter
  • 500 g pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Dice the onions and mushrooms. Add a little oil or butter to a pan and sauté the onions until translucent. Then add the mushrooms and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Deglaze with a little white wine (if you don’t like it, add a little water). Let the mixture reduce slightly for about five minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the cream cheese, cream, and milk. Season again with salt, pepper, and parsley. Cook the pasta according to the instructions, toss with the sauce, and serve.
