Mushroom sauce for pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • ½ onion(s), diced
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • Flour, approx. 1 tsp
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

vegetarian

Cook the pasta as usual and drain. Dice the onion. Melt the oil in a pan and sauté the mushrooms and diced onion. Sprinkle with a little flour, stir, and deglaze with the broth. Fold in the cream cheese, bring to a boil, and season with the spices to taste. Serve the sauce with the pasta. You can also serve it with rice.
