Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg mushrooms, fresh, ready to cook, roughly chopped
  • 40 g bacon, fat, smoked, cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
  • some salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • 1 cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water, cold, for mixing
  • 1 tbsp parsley, flat, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan, fry the bacon, and then remove it. Sauté the onion until light yellow, add the mushrooms, heat briefly, season with salt and pepper, and simmer, covered, over low heat for about 20-30 minutes until tender. Then thicken with the cornstarch, season with salt and pepper, and serve sprinkled with parsley.
