Mushrooms La Stroganoff
The perfect mushrooms la stroganoff recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Mushroom brown
- 2 Red Paprika
- 1 small Onion
- 3 medium sized Pickles
- 70 ml Red wine
- 100 ml Cream
- 125 ml Vegetable broth
- 125 ml Food starch
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 teaspoon Mustard
- Salt pepper
- Sweet paprika powder
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Clean the mushrooms and cut into slices, quarter the paprika, remove the core, peel and cut into strips. Peel and dice the onion, cut the cucumber into small cubes, set aside.
- Put some oil in a pan and fry the mushrooms until they have turned a golden brown color and all the broth they have given off has evaporated. Remove the mushrooms from the pan and set aside.
- Heat some oil again in the same pan. Fry the onion, bell pepper and cucumber for approx. 5 minutes. Now it is quenched with wine and let it boil down at least halfway. Add the stock and cream and simmer for another 10 minutes. If the sauce is too thin for you, stir a little starch and bind the sauce with it. Add the mushrooms and mustard and season to taste with the spices.
