Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 5 giant mushrooms (400 g)
- 80 g pork sausage, coarse, fresh
- 100 g medium-aged Gouda slices
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Clean the giant mushrooms and remove the stems. Remove the rind from the Gouda slices and cut them into eighths. Place 10 eighths of this into the mushroom caps. Reserve another 10 eighths for later use. Press the sausage meat out of the sausage and roughly chop it with the remaining Gouda in a food processor. Stuff the mixture into the mushroom caps and top with the reserved Gouda. Place in a prepared baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes. Plate up and serve. A delicious and quick appetizer.
