Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml vinegar, apple cider vinegar
  • 250 ml wine, white wine
  • 250 g sugar
  • Fruits, dried fruits, e.g. apricots, plums, raisins
  • Cinnamon
  • Carnation(s)
  • Ginger
  • 3 tbsp mustard powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring vinegar, white wine, and sugar to a boil. Add dried fruit, cinnamon, cloves, and a pinch of ginger and simmer for 15 minutes. Drain, reserving the stock. Transfer the fruit to a sealable jar. Allow the stock to cool, add the mustard powder, and cover the fruit with it. Refrigerate for 2-3 weeks. Serve with game or pâtés.
