My BBQ Sauce with Whiskey
The perfect my bbq sauce with whiskey recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 ml Tomato ketchup
- 500 ml Cola
- 1 Pc. Ginger
- 1 Pc. Onion
- 1 Pc. Chili
- 1 toe Garlic
- Lemon peel
- 1 Shot glass Whiskey
- Oil
- Salt
- Peel the onion, garlic and ginger and cut into small cubes. The chilli and lemon peel too. Fry everything in a large saucepan in a little oil without color. Add the ketchup and deglaze with the cola. It can now simmer on a low flame for a good 5 hours. When the onion is soft, the magic wand is used. Puree everything well. Season with salt and finally the whiskey ….. done. When filled in bottles, it can be kept in the refrigerator for weeks …..
- If you like, you can still achieve a real smoke aroma in the smoker. Simply put the sauce in a bowl, put the wet wood chips in the embers and let them smoke for 15-20 minutes.
