My Hamburger
The perfect my hamburger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Ingredients for the burger
- 4 Sesame burger bun
- 400 g Ground beef
- 1 Egg
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Mustard
- Paprika powder
- 1 disc Toast
- 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- Salt pepper
Ingredients for the topping
- Curry ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- 2 Gherkins
- 4 Iceberg lettuce leaves
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Onion (if desired)
Preparation for the burger
- Cut off the edge of the toast and dice the rest very small. Peel an onion and dice it as finely as possible. Mix well with minced meat, egg, mustard, diced toast bread and 2 tablespoons of water and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Shape the ground beef into 4 evenly sized flat cookies (best in a hamburger press). Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan and fry the burgers over a medium heat for 4 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.
- For the topping, wash the tomatoes, cut in half, cut out the stems, then cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Also cut the cucumber into slices. Wash the lettuce, pat dry and cut into strips. If necessary, bake the rolls. Halve the rolls and brush one half with ketchup and the other with mayonnaise. Place the burgers on one half of the bun and place 2 sheets of iceberg lettuce on top, the tomatoes and cucumbers, the other half on top and you’re done.
- (If you want, you can peel the second onion and cut it into rings and place it on the burger as well) Enjoy your meal!
