Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g cheese, hand cheese (ripe)
  • 300 g onion(s)
  • 6 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 10 tbsp apple cider, sour (stuff)
  • Caraway seeds
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Roughly dice the Handkäse and the onions as finely as possible. Place in a bowl and add a generous pinch of caraway seeds. Drizzle with oil and apple cider and mix well. Season with freshly ground pepper and let stand for a good 3 hours. Serve with farmhouse bread and butter. Apple wine is recommended as a drink.
