My Spicy Cooked Cheese

The perfect my spicy cooked cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Branded butter
  • 200 g Harzer cheese
  • 200 g Processed cheese – cream
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 2 teaspoon Caraway seed
  • 1 half a teaspoon Seasoned pepper
  • 1 half a teaspoon Chilli flakes
  • 3 Pinches Salt
  1. Preparation: cut the Harz cheese into small cubes and put all the other ingredients ready.
  2. Preparation 2: melt the butter in a small saucepan over a mild heat. When it starts to simmer, add the Harzer cubes and the processed cheese, stir vigorously until the Harzer has melted. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the sour cream, caraway seeds, pepper, chilli flakes and salt until the cheese is smooth and creamy. It happens very quickly.
  3. Pour into glasses while still hot, cool and let cool in the refrigerator and let steep.
  4. This cheese is also very easy to freeze and tastes like freshly made after sleeping in the cold … we love it on fresh farmhouse bread.
