Ingredients

The cream puffs

  • 100 g Flour
  • 50 g Butter
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 160 ml Water
  • 2 Christmas chicken eggs
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli flakes

The filling

  • 100 g Gorgonzola
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Instructions

the cream puffs

  • Bring the butter with water and salt to the boil and then add the flour.
  • Stir until the dough comes off the bottom of the pan.
  • First add an egg and work it under the dough. When it is completely stirred in, add the second egg and proceed in exactly the same way. Finally stir in the chilli flakes.
  • Pour the mixture into a piping bag and use it to squirt small florets onto a tray lined with foil or baking paper.
  • Bake at 190 degrees for about 25 minutes until the pieces are light brown.

the filling

  • Mix both types of cheese together.

the finish

  • Cut the puffs apart, fill with the cheese cream and sprinkle with a little paprika powder.
  • When I took the pieces out of the oven, I saw that some of them looked like little birds. One of the pictures shows what I made of it. Not particularly artistically valuable, but very decorative.
