Naan Breads
The perfect naan breads recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Yeast batch
- 75 ml Milk
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Dry yeast
dough
- 250 g Flour
- 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 75 g Yogurt 3.7%
- 1 piece Egg (size M)
Yeast batch
- Warm the milk to lukewarm. Then add sugar and dry yeast and stir. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. Take the yogurt and egg out of the refrigerator.
to make dough
- Mix the flour and salt. Pour in the yeast as well as olive oil, yoghurt and egg. Knead everything with the dough hook. Then dust the dough with flour and cover. Let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
Shape bread, bake
- Knead again briefly and shape into 5 – 6 balls, place on a floured work surface, cover with a cloth and let rest briefly. Roll out into oval cakes on a floured surface.
- Heat the grill pan and bake the cakes one after the other, 2 minutes on each side. Level 7 of 10.
- The bread tastes good when it is still warm. Is nice and loose and not dry. Tastes great as a side dish to salad.
