Napkin dumplings

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g bread(s) (dumpling bread)
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 50 g butter, liquid
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine all ingredients and pour over the dumpling bread, mixing thoroughly. Add a little more milk if needed. The mixture should be well-soaked but not runny. Let it rest for a while, then place it on the buttered aluminum foil. Form a thick roll and wrap it tightly in the aluminum foil. If necessary, wrap it in a second sheet of foil. Twist tight sausages at the end of the roll (this will prevent any water from seeping into the foil). Place in boiling water and simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Then slice with string.
