Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for marzipan figures, decorations of cakes, pastries and cakes

To achieve the desired color, work the appropriate ingredient into the marzipan and process as desired. Note: The colored marzipan keeps well wrapped in cling film, so it can be prepared a few days in advance. The colored marzipan can be easily rolled out between two sheets of baking paper, so you can make colorful marzipan blankets, for example, or cut out figures and shapes using cookie cutters or cut out free-form shapes with a knife. The marzipan is also very easy to shape into three-dimensional figures. I have already made naturally colored marzipan carrots, marzipan roses and flowers, lettering, and various figures this way. The natural coloring not only gives the marzipan a great color, but also a pleasant flavor: Brown marzipan tastes like cocoa/chocolate. Green marzipan tastes like green tea or lime. Orange marzipan tastes like orange. Yellow marzipan tastes like lemon. Pink marzipan tastes like raspberry.
