NeriZ.'s Mirabelle Chutney

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg Mirabelle plums, prepared and weighed
  • 250 g sugar, brown
  • 5 chili peppers, dried, ground
  • 2 tbsp spice mix (Ras-el-Hanout)
  • 3 small onions, chopped
  • 2 small garlic cloves, chopped
  • 150 ml vinegar, white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

fruity, spicy, exotic… delicious with cheese

Combine all ingredients and place in a large pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 1 hour. Pour into prepared twist-off jars and let cool upright with the lids on.
