New York toast with avocado and egg

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 1 box of cress
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes

Cut the cress from the bed and set aside for now. Peel the avocado, remove the pit, and slice the flesh. Drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Poach the eggs in vinegar until soft-boiled or boil them normally, then peel and slice. Toast the bread in the toaster, brush with butter, and grind over some salt and pepper. Top with the avocado slices, sprinkle with chili flakes, break up an egg, sprinkle with cress, and grind over the remaining pieces of pepper.
