Noble Macaroons with Nuts

The perfect noble macaroons with nuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Protein
  • Wafers 5cm
  • 300 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 2 drops Bitter almond oil
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 200 – 400 g Chopped hazelnuts
  1. First, the egg whites are beaten until they are nice and stiff. Then gradually sprinkle the powdered sugar. Set aside 3 tablespoons of the solid egg white powdered sugar mixture.
  2. First fold cinnamon, oil and vanilla sugar under the rest of the mixture. Then fold in the chopped hazelnuts. (If you want, you can of course also use chopped almonds or something). I chose the specification of 200 – 400 g hazelnut because some prefer it very nutty and others prefer it less nutty. The more nuts you take, the firmer the mass will of course be. So here you can let off steam 🙂
  3. Now a dollop of the mass is placed on the wafer (you can use two teaspoons to help). Then the individual blobs are coated with the stiff egg white that has been set aside.
  4. Now the macaroons are placed in the oven preheated to 125 ° C for 40 minutes. After baking you have to let the macaroons dry first;)
