Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g pasta (e.g. egg tagliatelle)
- 500 g turkey breast
- 1 gr. can/n peach(s) or apricots
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 large onions
- 100 ml meat broth
- 100 ml whipped cream
- possibly sauce thickener
- 2 tsp curry powder
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar
- some clarified butter
- n. B. Water (salt water)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
At least 1 hour before preparation, cut the meat into bite-sized cubes or strips and marinate in a bowl with the soy sauce. Cook the noodles in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Peel the onions, quarter them, and cut them into thin strips. Sauté them in a pan with a little clarified butter and about 1 tablespoon of sugar. Add them to a pot along with the noodles. Brown the turkey strips in the pan, season with salt and pepper, and add them to the pot. Cut the peaches into small strips and briefly sauté them in the pan before adding them to the pot. Now add the meat broth and cream and mix everything together. If desired, mix some sauce thickener with some of the peach juice and stir in as well. Add the curry powder and add a little more salt if desired. Simmer briefly and serve. This gourmet recipe belongs in our everyday kitchen because it’s quick and everyone loves it!
