Noodles with chicken liver

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 1 kg poultry liver(s)
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 6 carrots
  • 2 large leeks
  • 250 ml broth
  • some thyme
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Cut the carrots and bell peppers into thin strips and the leek into regular-sized rings. Add a little oil to the pan and cook the carrots and leeks gently over medium heat. Then sauté the chicken liver in a little oil and season with a pinch of salt. Once the vegetables are tender, add the stock and let everything simmer briefly. Now add the liver and let everything simmer gently for about 15-20 minutes. During this time, cook the pasta separately in salted water according to the package instructions. Finally, add a little thyme to the liver and vegetables.
