Make juice yourself – that’s how it works

In principle, making juice is very easy. You should only heed a few tips, then it works without problems.

  • Choose fresh fruit. The fresher the fruit, the fresher the juice. If the fruit has been in the supermarket for a long time, it has usually already lost some of its vitamins. So it is worth paying attention to the freshness. It is even best if you take fruit from your garden.
  • Do the pressure test on the fruit. The following applies: the softer the fruit, the older and riper it is. You should therefore choose fruits that are ripe but not overripe. This is how you get the best juice.
  • Think about which fruits you like and which you might be able to mix. This usually results in an extraordinary taste experience, since you can create juices that are not commercially available. For example, oranges and plums are a delicious flavor combination. Get creative and try different concoctions!
  • Before making the juice, the fruit should of course be washed. Organic fruit without pesticides or fruit from the garden is ideal. After washing, some fruits need to be peeled. Apples, for example, are easier to digest without the peel in the juice.
  • Making juice is very easy. You need a juice press or juice centrifuge, which makes it possible to gently extract the liquid from the fruit. The juice obtained is then filled into sterile containers.

Make juice from vegetables

Of course, you can also make juice from vegetables yourself. This works in a similar way to fruit. You can also use the same devices for this. Vegetable juices are just as healthy as fruit juices.

  1. If you want to make vegetable juice, you should have a blender, hand blender, or juicer ready. This allows you to mix the vegetables into small pieces and thus initially get a porridge.
  2. This pulp is then filtered. Bags or coffee filters can help to separate the larger pieces from the actual juice. Put the pureed mush in a filter and use the filtered juice to drink. Freezing is no problem either.
  3. The leftover bits can also be frozen and added to a vegetable soup or soup. Simply use pieces of tomato for your next spaghetti Bolognese
