Nougat Baileys ice cream for the ice cream maker

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 ½ tbsp maple syrup
  • 160 g nougat
  • 80 g almonds, chopped
  • 320 ml cream
  • 1 shot of Baileys Irish Cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Whisk the egg yolks, egg, and maple syrup until very frothy. Melt the nougat in the microwave. Be careful, this happens very quickly (in seconds); the nougat should be beautifully creamy! Add the nougat to the egg mixture and mix well. Add a generous splash of Baileys (to taste) and mix well. Then fold the whipped cream and chopped almonds into the mixture. Pour everything into the ice cream maker.
