Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 275 g flour
  • 50 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 2 tbsp brittle (hazelnut brittle)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 175 g butter
  • 150 g nougat
  • 1 pack of hazelnuts, whole

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 17 minutes

Cookies with hazelnuts and nut nougat

Mix the sugar with the butter and egg. Add the flour and mix well. Stir in the ground hazelnuts and hazelnut brittle. Shape the dough into a ball and chill for 30 minutes. Roll out and cut out round cookies. Place on a baking sheet and press a whole hazelnut into every second cookie. Bake at 200°C for about 12 minutes. Let cool. Heat the nougat in a water bath. Spread the nougat on the cookies without hazelnuts and place the cookies with hazelnuts on top, pressing down lightly.
