Nougat cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 150 g almonds, ground
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 150 g nougat
  • 200 g milk chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 8 minutes

for approx. 30 pieces

Knead all ingredients into a dough. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, cut out an even number of cookies, and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 8 minutes; the cookies should not brown. Remove the cookies and let them cool on a wire rack. Melt the nougat in a water bath, spread it on one cookie, and place a second one on top. Fill all the cookies in the same way and let them dry for about 1 hour. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath and dip half of the filled cookies into the mixture. Let them dry on a wire rack.
