Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
- 1 bottle of rum flavoring
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of clove(s), ground
- 1 pinch of cardamom, ground
- 100 g flour
- 100 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 100 g Nutella (nut nougat cream)
- 1 tsp coffee powder (cappuccino powder)
- 200 g dark chocolate coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
with fine filling
Beat butter until fluffy. Stir in sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, flavorings, and spices. Mix flour, starch, and cocoa, sift over, and fold in. Preheat oven to 175°C. Fill a piping bag with the batter and serve with a large star nozzle. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Pipe the batter in short, wavy lines. Bake for 10–12 minutes. Stir the hazelnut spread in a warm water bath until smooth. Fold in the cappuccino powder. Spread the batter on the underside of half of the strips and press the flat side down on the remaining strips. Melt the chocolate coating. Dip one end of the double strips into the chocolate coating.
