Nut – Nougat Croissants

The perfect nut – nougat croissants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g Ground walnuts
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 50 g Nougat
  • 80 g Butter
  1. Mix the flour with nuts, sugar and salt and pile on a work surface. Finely grate the nougat with a kitchen grater. Spread the butter in flakes on top. Chop everything through with a pallet, then quickly knead into a shortcrust pastry.
  2. Shape the dough into a roll (approx. 3 cm in diameter), cut into pieces approx. 1 cm thick. Shape the dough pieces into 7-8 cm long rolls so that they are pointed at both ends. Place on the baking sheets and bend the dough into croissants.
  3. Put the trays one after the other in the oven (150 ° C) and bake the biscuits for about 20 minutes.
