Nut – Nougat Croissants
The perfect nut – nougat croissants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Flour
- 100 g Ground walnuts
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 50 g Nougat
- 80 g Butter
- Mix the flour with nuts, sugar and salt and pile on a work surface. Finely grate the nougat with a kitchen grater. Spread the butter in flakes on top. Chop everything through with a pallet, then quickly knead into a shortcrust pastry.
- Shape the dough into a roll (approx. 3 cm in diameter), cut into pieces approx. 1 cm thick. Shape the dough pieces into 7-8 cm long rolls so that they are pointed at both ends. Place on the baking sheets and bend the dough into croissants.
- Put the trays one after the other in the oven (150 ° C) and bake the biscuits for about 20 minutes.
